The Good Place is one of those sitcoms that hold a very special place in my heart. This show hit the nail on the head for sitcoms, it has the comedic timing, the cast has chemistry and it gives a sitcom vibe to an environment we are not used to – the afterlife. I am surprised at how much I personally enjoyed The Good Place as it is one of the newer sitcoms, compared to the classics mostly set before the early 2000s.

I genuinely enjoy this show and think it is a hidden gem that more people need to stumble upon! To avoid spoilers for those who have not watched yet I will use general information and reference mostly Season 1 to not give away the other 3 seasons. I would like to talk more about The Good Place so take this post as a reason to start watching before we start digging in and analyzing thoroughly. I can’t wait to delve more into this show, I think it is one of the better sitcoms out there and has valuable lessons all humans go through.
