Hi there!

I’m Tori Tsunami, and welcome to my blog: The Sitcom Café! 😊

This is a space dedicated to sitcom lovers like myself, providing a user-friendly platform where people can actively discuss and connect with others who share a love for these light-hearted TV shows.

I created this blog because I truly understand the joy and knowledge that sitcoms bring into our lives.

Let’s embark on this exciting journey together as we celebrate the wonderful world of sitcoms and explore the warmth they bring to our lives.

I thought about what I know a lot about and what truly ignites my passion. That’s when the idea came to mind – why not start a platform to discuss sitcoms? I get immense joy from watching them and engaging in conversations with others about their thoughts and opinions.

To my surprise, when I searched for a sitcom blog online, none of them captured the fun and cozy vibe that sitcoms exude. They all felt more like newsletters rather than creating a welcoming space for fellow enthusiasts.

So, I made the decision to embark on this journey of creating something I love. And here it is—the result of that inspiration. I hope this space can offer you the same comfort and excitement that it brings to me, and together, we can build a vibrant community of sitcom lovers, sharing our thoughts and feelings.

Allow me to share a little bit about myself and why I find myself well-acquainted with sitcoms.

Since the day I was born, sitcoms have been a significant part of my life, thanks to my mom’s love for them. Growing up, I watched these shows alongside her, my babysitters and at daycares, which constantly exposed me to their magic, and I absolutely loved them!

Among all the sitcoms out there, my favourite is Friends. When people boast about rewatching it over a hundred times, believe me when I say that I belong to that group. I proudly own all the box sets on DVD, consistently rewatched it during its time on Netflix, and even subscribed to Crave TV just to continue indulging in it.

Now, before you think I’m completely crazy, I do watch other shows too—quite a few.

But I do confess that I still find myself watching Friends almost every day, even to this day.

Here is a list of other sitcoms that I adore, have rewatched multiple times, and cannot wait to discuss on this blog (in no particular order):

These are just a few of the sitcoms I love, there are many I have watched but not viewed from start to finish. So there will be more to come from them, some of those include:

  • The Big Bang Theory 
  • Two and a Half Men (Haven’t Watched The Ashton Kutcher episodes) 
  • Fresh Prince of Bel-Air 
  • Everybody Loves Raymond 
  • Black-ish  
  • The Golden Girls 

And there are so many others I have only seen a few episodes and will eventually finish for this blog. I am constantly curious and learning about them. I love that there is so much more to share so if there are any people who are super interested in I will definitely put them to the top of the list to check out and blog about. 

That is why there will usually be a comment section at the bottom of most pages to hear feedback and to hear what you have to say about YOUR favourite sitcoms 😊
